is currently seeking a Billing Validation Specialist to join our team in the Aston Pa (Delaware County) office.
This position can eventually be a hybrid position working from home and the office.

About the role:
The Medical Billing Validation Specialist ensures payer guidelines and billing requirements are met prior to billing.
Payers include Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, commercial plans, and wholesale accounts.

Responsibilities:
Review orders to ensure all insurance guidelines and billing requirements are met and verifies receipt of compliant detailed written order, prior to submission of claims.
Communicates any insurance compliance errors or discrepancies to Team Leader.
Participates in educational training on an ongoing basis to maintain knowledge and competency about the billing procedures and protocols of federal, state, and private payers.
May communicate directly with payers to obtain information or clarification of billing guidelines.
Logs Detailed Written Orders, RXs, or Prior Authorizations, as required.
Assists Team with the set-up of new contracts and payer additions within the billing system.
QUALIFICATIONS High level of attention to detail and accuracy Ability to communicate professionally, effectively, and accurately both orally and in writing.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously under strict deadlines.
Experience:
2-3 years medical billing or customer service experience in the healthcare industry.
